Advancement of Citizenship and Community Development

Here at ScottishPower, we always aim to recognise and honour the incredible achievements of individuals and organisations across the UK. This is evident by looking at the ScottishPower Foundation 2014 citizenship and community development projects we have carried out below. We have continued our work into the new year, as can be seen on the ScottishPower Foundation 2015 citizenship and community development projects page.

Your Champions / Your Heroes

The Your Champions awards recognise the unsung heroes who selflessly give up their time to better their local communities. 2014 will be the 27th year the awards have run in Chester and the 17th year in North Wales. Your Heroes, now in its 7th year, rewards projects and individuals in the Liverpool and Merseyside area.

Funding will support an awareness raising campaign and will culminate in awards ceremonies held in North Wales, Chester and Southport attended by guests, including award finalists, winners and their families and friends.

Your Champions will take place in North Wales in October 2014 and in Chester in November 2014. Your Heroes will take place in Southport in January 2014.
