A Milestone Night – Your Champions Awards 30th Anniversary

A memorable 30th anniversary Your Champions Awards ceremony was held on the 17th November at the Crowne Plaza Hotel, Chester, with Colin Jackson CBE the special guest of the night and awards presented by Carl Wood, Trinity Mirror and Stephen Stewart representing ScottishPower Foundation.

War poet Hedd Wyn remembered in unique video installation beamed on to the National Library of Wales

A unique video project commemorating the 100th anniversary of the death of Wales's most famous Great War poet, Ellis Humphrey Evans was on the  10th November beamed onto the front of the National Library of Wales in Aberystwyth after receiving backing from the ScottishPower Foundation.

We are currently looking to appoint two additional independent trustees with a passion for, and commitment to, the Foundation’s mission. We are keen to hear from applicants with expertise and strategic experience in: change management; arts and culture; and the environment. ScottishPower Foundation teams up with National Museums Scotland to launch national photography challenge for schools

The ScottishPower Foundation and National Museums Scotland have launched a new photography competition for primary and secondary school students across Scotland. Budding photographers (aged 9 to 14) are being asked to submit a single photograph that brings to life their interpretation of the word ‘energy’ – this could be anything from a wind farm, steam from a boiling kettle, or even the gleaming shine of a lightbulb.

ScottishPower Foundation to give a record £1.8million to good causes across the UK

Twenty six UK-based charities will be awarded funding from the ScottishPower Foundation this year. The programme for 2017 was unveiled today (10 March 2017) at the National Theatre of Scotland in Glasgow - one of the projects set to benefit from the £1.8million largest funding pot to date.
