Chief Financial Officer

Charles Langan was appointed Chief Financial Officer in July 2024, responsible for delivery and consolidation across ScottishPower of all financial information and reporting, administration, budgets, investment analysis, long-term planning and internal controls and accounting to enable economic analysis and review of business plans, investment strategy and efficiency targets.

Charles joined ScottishPower in 2005 and has held several senior finance positions in the UK and Spain, where he was responsible for the Iberdrola Group’s Fixed-Income Investor Relations activity.

Charles is a member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Scotland and has a degree in Accountancy and Finance from the University of Strathclyde. Charles has also completed the Global Leadership & Driving Leadership Transformation Programmes with IMD and IESE Business Schools.

Prior to joining ScottishPower, Charles worked as an external auditor for EY.
