4,000 electric vehicle charging points and heat pumps will need to be installed every day until 2050.

The UKs race to net zero will require 80% of homes to install electric vehicles to install electric vehicle charging points, and three quarters to switch from gas to electric heating by 2050.

The cost of the UK’s journey to net zero is estimated to be just under £300 billion.  Much of this will need to be completed by 2035.
