ScottishPower, SSE and National Grid have been announced as the Principal Partners in COP26.

The UN’s 26th Climate Change Conference set to take place in Glasgow next November. 

Together, the energy firms have invested billions in low carbon assets and infrastructure vital to achieving the UK’s Net Zero targets.

And now the three firms are set to deliver the multi-billion pound underwater super highway, the Eastern Link. 

The two HVDC cables will have a combined capacity of up to 4GW and travel up to 440km.

Significantly increasing the UK’s capacity for clean, green renewable power.
