Following the storms which affected south west Scotland and north Wales during the period 22 – 25 March 2013, ScottishPower Energy Networks will compensate those customers who were without electricity for more than 24 hours continuously, in line with our Regulator, Ofgem’s Guaranteed Standards covering such exceptional situations.
A team has been established to manage these payments across both of the company’s licence areas and will pro-actively contact all customers who are entitled to compensation over the coming weeks.
If you wish to contact ScottishPower Energy Networks regarding a claim for compensation, a dedicated telephone number has been set up to deal with these enquiries:
0330 1010 158
This line will be open Monday to Friday between 08:30 and 17:00 until close of play on Friday 26 April 2013.
Alternatively, you can complete the 'Customer Compensation Claim Form' and email it to either of the addresses below:
Scotland: Energynetworksnorthstorms@sppowersystems.com
England/Wales: Energynetworkssouthstorms@sppowersystems.com
ScottishPower Energy Networks greatly appreciate the patience shown by its customers during this very difficult time.
