ScottishPower has recognised its suppliers for their dedication and quality of work at an awards night hosted at its Glasgow HQ.
The bi-annual ceremony celebrates the great and good among ScottishPower's supply chain with awards presented across nine categories.
FCE Projects Limited was recognised for its health and safety work to ensure there was no injuries or incidents at the Coppenhall Transformer replacement in Cheshire, while Keltbray Aspire Limited picked up the top prize for sustainability thanks to the consideration it paid to the environment in its daily work.
The Best Delivery of Service Award went to Domestic & General Serviced Limited for its strategic work to support ScottishPower projects, while the Innovation Award went to CENSIS for its creativity when providing tech support to the energy provider.
The Best SME Award was taken home by BVG Associated Limited as it celebrated 10 years of Whitelee Windfarm, the UK’s largest onshore wind farm, which consistently produces economic, environmental and social benefits from its base just outside of Glasgow.
The Employment Generation Award was won by Iceni Marine Service Limited for jobs created during its renewables work offshore, while Luddon Construction Limited won the Customer Service prize for its work on the Erskine Transformer replacement.
The Collaborative Working prize was won by Noel Regan & Sons Building & Civil Engineering and Contractors UK Limited while Nexans won the top prize in the Equipment and Materials category for its supply of cabling offshore.
