We’re excited to unveil the shortlist for the 10th annual ScottishPower Foundation Awards.
Twelve impressive charities from around the UK, supported by the ScottishPower Foundation in 2023, are in the running for a funding boost, with category winners receiving £10,000 to support their vital work, and runners-up taking home £5,000.
Melanie Hill, Executive Officer and Trustee at the ScottishPower Foundation, said: “As we enter the tenth year of supporting registered charities across the UK, what has become increasingly clear to us is the real-world value of the vital charities that are supporting people and communities across the country.
“This year’s ScottishPower Foundation Awards shortlisted finalists are inspiring real difference through their work and are cornerstone examples of the positive impact ScottishPower Foundation funding can make.
“I’m looking forward to celebrating the achievements of our finalists – and the ScottishPower Foundation – on Awards Day later this month.”
The shortlist was selected by a judging panel made up of experts from the industry and the education sectors. We would like to extend our thanks for their time and effort.
This year’s judges were: Sarah McNulty, People & Organisation Director, ScottishPower; Marina Livingstone, Programmes Director, Strathclyde University Business School; Stuart MacQuarrie, Trustee, ScottishPower Foundation and Alison McRae, Senior Director, Glasgow Chamber of Commerce.
The winners will be announced at the Awards ceremony on October 30th
