Minimum Criteria - Honours Degree (or equivalent) at a minimum of 2:2 Degree in Cyber Security, Computer Forensics, Computer Science, Control Systems Engineering, Maths related degree, or STEM-related or similar

Our Cyber Security Team are key to securing our technology, providing cyber security support, advice, and assurance to our ScottishPower Renewables business during all stages of our project lifecycle. Now more than ever it’s crucial that we protect our assets, devices, and services to protect the UK’s energy supply and enable the green energy transmission. 

What you’ll be doing

As a Cyber Security Graduate, you’ll dive into the dynamic world of modern energy systems, learning to identify and tackle the threats they face.  

From day one, you’ll assist with the design, development, management, and operations of asset and vulnerability management platforms, becoming an integral part of our team. Applying the knowledge from your degree, you’ll engage in penetration testing, security engineering, incident management, and cyber security audits to ensure our systems are strong and resilient. You’ll also gain hands-on experience implementing and assessing cyber security practices in line with the National Cyber Security Centre (NCSC) Cyber Assessment Framework (CAF) and adhering to industry standards like ISO27001 and IEC62443 for both IT and Operational Technology (OT).  

As you navigate this exciting journey with our Cyber Security Team, you’ll be at the forefront of the energy sector’s digital transformation, contributing to the protection of Critical National Infrastructure (CNI) as an Operator of Essential Services (OES).
