SP Energy Networks Storm Compensation

Storm Doris - 23/25 February 2017

SP Manweb Area

Storm Doris swept across large areas of North and Mid Wales, Cheshire and Merseyside during the period 23/25 February 2017, causing significant damage to the distribution network in our licence area.  We would like to apologise to all of our customers who lost power during this time.

If you have receipts to reclaim costs for purchasing hot food during this period, then please forward these at your earliest convenience to:

With regard to compensation, SP Energy Networks will  undertake a full analysis of the incident, in line with the Energy Regulator, Ofgem’s Guaranteed Standards covering exceptional events.

We will be able to update on the initial analysis in a few days, and we will then pro-actively contact all customers who are due compensation.

Energy Networks recognise the major inconvenience that this event caused and would like to thank all of our customers for their patience and resilience shown during this very difficult time.
