The deadline for responding to SP Manweb’s consultation on the North Wales Wind Farms Connection Project has now passed. The proposals consist of 17 kilometres of overhead line carried on wood poles, which are approximately 15 metres in height. The current stage of consultation started on 20 March 2014 and the deadline for responses ended on 28 June 2014.
Over 200 people visited the consultation’s public exhibitions and over 500 responses have been received by SP Manweb.
SP Manweb will now analyse and consider all the feedback it receives before making any final changes to the Project. SP Manweb is aiming to submit an application for a Development Consent Order (DCO) to the Planning Inspectorate later in the year. All feedback submitted to the Project will be responded to in a Consultation Report, which is submitted as part of the DCO.
